Best beach has to be Bigbury on Sea. This is simply a stunning beach great place to go an surf if surfing is your thing then Bantham is next door to Bigbury but there’s no cafes at Bantham. This is really just a surfing place were the waves are great. At Bigbury they do surfing lessons at DiscoverySurf which are not to expensive instructors are good and can do either large groups or one to one lessons. The surfing lessons are usually done on foam boards you can hire these plus they do paddle boarding which is great fun the paddle boards are bigger and wide than surf boards. There’s also a great cafe with good food you can grab yourself a ice Cream burger or a latte. there’s always life guards and parking is good. You can grab the tractor which takes you across the water or sand depending on if the tide is in to the burgh island. Where there is a good pub get yourself a beer and chill out in the amazing view
